Robert Muller has had a very large positive influence on me. He has a wonderful global outlook and a loving, kind-hearted attitude of forgiveness and understanding and patience. I have great admiration and respect for him. He's one of the greatest men to come along in a long time.

It's a hard book to put down--fast paced, exciting, and very moving. A wonderful read and so inspiring. I wanted for it to continue.

Prophet should be required reading in every language on the planet. I especially resonated with Georges Schmidt, the man in the Languages Division of the UN who wanted to set the record for fluency in languages.

Prophet brought me peace of mind. It's one of the best books I have ever read. It jumps right out at you. The dialogue is so well written that I felt I was there. This book brings history alive and makes the past relevant to the present. It should be required reading.

If it were fiction, Prophet would make a thrilling movie. The fact that it is true makes it even more compelling. I was sorry at the end because I wanted to read on.

I could hardly put it down! It is a beautifully detailed and vivid presentation of the boyhood of Robert Muller in a war-torn world. It not only shows with clarity and precision the history of the times (which I had forgotten), but the struggles of a sensitive boy to pursue his love of nature and great literature in such trying times.
